Diagnostic Report
Following a dyslexia assessment, I will prepare a detailed diagnostic report with recommendations for you child. This will outline strengths and weaknesses and whether your child has a specific learning difficulty, such as dyslexia.
A comprehensive and confidential report with further recommendations will be sent to the parents one week after the assessment by email, followed by a hard copy in the post. It will provide important information for teachers about how these difficulties affect your child in the classroom and recommendations for action and intervention including an individual tailor-made teaching programme that is multi-sensory, structured and cumulative, to use at school and at home.

I obtained my OCR Diploma to become a qualified Specialist Teacher and Assessor in 2003. Dyslexia assessments take place in the COVID secure conservatory at my home in Bishop’s Stortford, on the Herts and Essex border, and will last the whole morning. I regularly update my knowledge and expertise with courses, seminars and conferences as well as being a member of the British Dyslexia Association and PATOSS (Professional Association of Teachers with Specific Learning Difficulties).
